1. ‘Was’ ve ‘Were’ Kullanımı
Bir kişinin doğum yeri, doğum tarihi veya karakteristik özellikleri hakkında bilgi verirken be fiilinin geçmiş zaman hali olan was/were kullanılır. Örneğin: ‘Mustafa Kemal Atatürk was a great leader.’ veya ‘He was born in 1881.’
2. Düzenli ve Düzensiz Fiiller
Bir kişinin neler başardığını anlatırken fiilin ikinci halini (V2) kullanırız. Fiiller ikiye ayrılır:
- Düzenli Fiiller (Regular Verbs): Fiilin sonuna -ed takısı eklenir. (Örn: visit -> visited, graduate -> graduated)
- Düzensiz Fiiller (Irregular Verbs): Bu fiiller tamamen değişir ve ezberlenmelidir. (Örn: write -> wrote, win -> won, become -> became)
3. Biyografi Yazarken İzlenecek Yol
İyi bir biyografi metni genellikle şu akışla yazılır:
