KİTAP BİZDEN NE İSTİYOR? (Türkçe Açıklaması):
Joe'nun İtalya okul gezisine ait günlük (travel diary) metinlerini okuyarak, alt taraftaki 3 adet soruyu metinden çıkaracağınız bilgilere göre tam cümlelerle yanıtlamanızı istemektedir.
BİZİM CEVAPLARIMIZ VE TAM CÜMLE ÇEVİRİLERİ:
1. Where did Joe go? How? (Joe nereye gitti? Nasıl?)
Cevap: He went to Italy by plane. (İtalya'ya uçakla gitti.)
2. What did Joe imagine when he was in the Colosseum? (Joe Kolezyum'dayken ne hayal etti?)
Cevap: He imagined the gladiators fighting in the arena. (Arenada dövüşen gladyatörleri hayal etti.)
3. Where will they go from Rome? (Roma'dan sonra nereye gidecekler?)
Cevap: They will leave Rome to go to Naples the next day. (Ertesi gün Napoli'ye gitmek üzere Roma'dan ayrılacaklar.)

KİTAP BİZDEN NE İSTİYOR? (Türkçe Açıklaması):
Göz gezdirme yöntemiyle günlüğü tekrar inceleyerek; gezi planının 1, 2 ve 3. günlerinde Joe'nun Roma'da hangi aktiviteleri gerçekleştirdiğini kronolojik olarak listelemenizi istemektedir.
BİZİM CEVAPLARIMIZ VE GÜNLÜK ÖZETİ:
• 1st day (Tuesday 6th June): He visited the Colosseum, the Pantheon, and the Trevi Fountain. He made wishes and rested on the Spanish Steps.
• 2nd day (Wednesday 7th June): He went to the Vatican museums and Trastevere, walked through narrow streets, and bought many souvenirs.
• 3rd day (Thursday 8th June): He had a big breakfast, tried delicious Italian pizza and gelato, visited a couple of more museums, and packed for Naples.
