KİTAP BİZDEN NE İSTİYOR? (Türkçe Açıklaması):
Fizikçi Isaac Newton ve akşam yemeğinde tavuk yiyen dalgın misafiri hakkındaki anekdot metninde boş bırakılan 1'den 20'ye kadar olan eylemleri geçmiş zaman kurallarına göre doğru formda çekimlemenizi istemektedir.
BİZİM CEVAPLARIMIZ VE FİİL ÇEKİMLERİ:
Sir Isaac Newton (1) was interested in difficult problems. That's why he (2) became quite absent-minded. One day, a man (3) came to see him, but the servant (4) told that Sir Isaac (5) was busy, and he didn't want to (6) see anybody at that moment. As it was dinner time, the visitor (7) sat down in the dining room to wait for the scientist.
The servant (8) came and (9) placed a boiled chicken on the table. The gentleman, feeling very hungry, (10) ate the chicken and (11) covered up the skeleton. Then, he (12) asked the servant to prepare another one for his master. Before the second chicken was ready, Newton (13) entered the room, apologizing for his delay. Then, Sir Isaac (14) added that he (15) felt hungry. With those words Newton (16) lifted the cover, (17) turned round to his visitor and (18) said that what a strange people the scientists (19) were because he himself quite (20) forgot that he dined already!
